Slayter Creek Park.  This park is located west of Anna Middle School on Rosamond Parkway.  It has a variety of recreational amenities including a splash pad, four ball fields, two tennis courts, two basketball goals, two large multi-purpose athletic fields, a 3600-foot walking trail, a skateboard park, a playground, horseshoe pits, a shuffleboard court, a large pavilion, and a concession building with restrooms.

The Disc Golf Course which is one of the prides of Anna is also located here on the Slayter Creek Park.





Natural Springs Park is located south of FM 455 - West White Street, behind Brookshire’s and Rattan Elementary school.  The park has a natural spring that feeds a small man-made pond.  The area around the spring and pond is heavily wooded whereas you and your kids will surely enjoy the fresh air.  There is a large open area located along the west side of the tract providing lots of room for flying kites, playing with Frisbees, and other passive recreational activities.

This is a park where the majority has not been developed into the usual-like playgrounds or parks.  The park remains in its natural state and still includes amenities such as walking trails with bridges, picnic tables, benches, a fishing pier at the pond, and a gazebo.





Bryant Park is a 5 acre tract located on the north side of CR 371 just south of Bryant Elementary.  The park is still undeveloped but is available for outdoor athletic and recreational activities.





Geer Park is a 25 acre tract located just east of the intersection of Sixth and Smith Streets.  Just like Bryant Park, this park is undeveloped but is available for outdoor athletic and recreational activities this year.





Sherley Park is located at the corner of Sherley Avenue and 4th street.  The park features a baseball field where the children's youth league traditionally plays.





Johnson Park is located just east of Sherley Park on Sherley Avenue at 1st street.  The park has 2 softball fields where the girls’ youth league traditionally plays.  It also has a playground for other kids not into playing softball.

The City of Anna has other areas of land all throughout the city that are designated to be a park which will be developed as the city grows.

The City of Anna established a sports association for the young residents.  This is called the Anna Youth Sports Association or AYSA.  It is an independent, nonprofit youth sports association which is authorized to use City facilities to operate their youth sports programs.

A-town Sports, the home for youth sports in Anna, TX is a subsidiary of AYSA.  Sports include baseball, softball, football, basketball and cheerleading.  A-Town Sports is home to the North Texas Shockers Baseball Club.

Anna Glowfest.  The Anna Glowfest is a day full of fun for kids and the entire family!  This event is free to everyone!
